Kindness

My kindness is not weakness
My kindness is not weakness
Ooh ah ooh ah
Ooh ah ooh ah
Somewhere throughout our linear existence we thought our uniqueness relied on our knee jerk reactions from the lizard part of our brain but if we take a second gleam at our vessels we’ll realize we’re just a carbon copy set to infinity
My kindness is not weakness
My kindness is not weakness
Ooh ah ooh ah
Ooh ah ooh ah
Wouldn’t we be of better use to ourselves and others if we realized empathy is not a defect, compassion is for the present, gratitude is for the living, it’s okay to not be okay
If there’s a brain in your head use it
If there’s a brain in your head use it
If there’s a heart in your chest use it
If there’s a heart in your chest use it
If there’s a brain in your head use it
If there’s a brain in your head use it
If there’s a heart in your chest use it
If there’s a heart in your chest use it
My kindness is not weakness
My kindness is not weakness
Ooh ah ooh ah
Ooh ah ooh ah

Culture Vulture

Inarticulate self dialogue posed as poised version of myself and what I ought to be
I’m out of your no you're out of order this whole idea is out of order
Not everything is meant to have meaning
Not everything is going to be fine
Not everything is meant to have meaning
Not everything is going to be fine
Not everything has to have a reason
Not everything has to have meaning
Not everything has to have a reason
Not everything has to have meaning
Reoccurring themes with similar meanings
Destinations aren’t as necessary as much as leaving
I don’t want to feel alone in front of others
Emotions too on the nose make me cringe
Who is the culture
Who is the vulture
Who is the culture
Who is the vulture
So what if I’m a hypocrite
Doesn’t everybody live like this
So what if I’m a hypocrite
Doesn’t everybody live like this
Inept depressed a miracle undressed
You're perfect you're stressed an elephant on your chest
A breath success when you consider all the rest
A failure to test the passion you have left

Aesop Amnesia

I found myself disassociating in the produce section of a grocery market not knowing whose arms legs and or feet I was controlling
A mirror breaks
Now what you got
Tally it up
Seven years bad luck
Consistently persistent
The mind begs for art for resistance
I don’t know what it means to be alive
You don’t have to fill the page if your answer is concise
I already know what it means to be dead
In titular fashion I’m living it again
Waking up after my fourth alarm I look down and not only did waste the day but I have gained some weight
I pry myself out of bed go down stairs seeing as I’m trying to quit I skip the cigarette
Living an introverts nightmare trained to be okay with getting paid minimum wage I leave the house and get more familiar with the doing things I don’t want to do
An exercise in futility
We contort ourselves into
A puzzle piece
Give a little
They’ll take it all
All you got
Is never enough
I don’t know what it means to be alive
You don’t have to fill the page if your answer is concise
I already know what it means to be dead
In titular fashion I’m living it again

Just good at being a first year lover
Only interested in the novelty of butterflies
Body full of perishables
Can’t escape the inevitable
The feelings dark but it’s mutual
Drink away the shakes
Piss away the days
Each day in more clever ways
Err on the side of caution
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
Just good at being a first year lover
Only interested in the novelty of butterflies
Body full of perishables
Can’t escape the inevitable
The feelings dark but it’s mutual
Drink away the shakes
Piss away the days
Each day in more clever ways
Err on the side of caution
I’m only as human as you’ll let me be
I’m only as human as you’ll let me be
I’m only as human as you’ll let me be
I’m only as human as you’ll let me be
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
I don’t know what I don’t know
I won’t let you go to hell alone
Don’t want you to have all the fun
I won’t let you go to hell alone
Don’t want you to have all the fun
I won’t let you go to hell alone
I won’t let you go to hell alone

Real-time Traveling Man

Absolutely average in every regard
Love as a word is a leash and I am your dog
Took the scenic road to the middle
Stopped at every stop
Picked up weeds and popped their heads off
You know who you are
You don’t care if you get caught
Millions of stars
Miles apart
Going through the motions of a real time traveling man
Freedom is a cigarette and a coffee back
Going through the motions of who, what, where I am
Love as a word is a leash and I am your dog
Justifying is my nature
The devils advocator
Nobody wins in a game of who cares less
The tragedies, the comedies, the histories and romances
There’s no right or wrong
It’s that thinking makes it so
Checking boxes
Taking names
Pointing fingers
It’s all the same
Going through the motions of a real time traveling man
Freedom is a cigarette and a coffee back
Going through the motions of who, what, where I am
Love as a word is a leash and I am your dog
